"I’d love to speak at FtF because it’s one of the best and friendliest conferences I have been to, the crowd is great, the location is amazing, and apparently I have been that close to speaking twice already ;) And besides that, Bologna is a fantastic city with the best food. Ever."

Mark Robbins

Mark is changing the way people think of email, they no longer have to be static pages of simple text and image but can now be fully interactive microsites.

At the forefront of the new interactive email revolution he is pushing email clients to their limits yet still supplying solid fallbacks for the likes of Outlook. Among other things, he has build fully interactive game in email, multi page emails, 3D products and a fully functional shopping cart and checkout in an email. All this without a line of JavaScript, just pure CSS.

As well as working with many major brands Mark has also consulted for a number of email clients on developing their rendering capabilities.

You can often find him discussing the quirks of email rendering on twitter @M_J_Robbins and as a moderator at the Litmus Community.

"Today I gave a talk at From the Front in Bologna, Italy. It’s the first conference I’ve spoken at that has been simultaneously interpreted, and over the past few weeks I’ve been fretting about how it might turn out. […] I wanted to make my talk as accessible as possible to all the attendees"

The price

The greatest goal of From the Front, as a no-profit, is to offer a top notch conference at an affordable price.

Full price tickets are available at 185€, which is a bargain compared to the industry standards, for 2 full days of event.*

Nevertheless, stay assured we won’t compromise on quality: there will never be any content that wasn’t either hand picked, or selected through a blind call for paper for its content. You’ll never see an un-relevant sponsored talk: you paid a ticket, we value your time.

* The price will eventually raise, around mid July, when the late birds will be on sale, but that would still be less than the European average.
